| » Barhopper One: with the music of Kid Koala Director, Editor (Chapman University, 2005) "His first date; he didn't quite know what to do, or what to say..." The final project for my visual storytelling and my favorite project to date. The idea for this piece was to do reverse sound sync (similar to "a quondam dream. anything but,") but this time adding the complication of matching dialogue. To complicate things even more, I decided to make the entire 2:30 minutes one single fluid motion camera shot (insteading of cutting). The project was extremely challenging and took over eight hours to dress, light, rehearse, and finally shoot (as well as over a dozen takes). The most challenging part of this project was not rehearsing each individual actor dozens of times until I believed they were perfectly in sync, it was getting everybody to hit their cues in the same exact take.
